Rain pelted the large windows of Thomas Müller's office in St. Moritz. Sitting behind a polished mahogany desk, he watched the drops slide down the glass, a reflection of the whirlwind of thoughts racing through him. Though he tried to project an image of composure, his eyes betrayed a latent tension, a constant internal turmoil that not even the elegant surroundings could quell. The encrypted phone beside him beeped briefly, breaking the oppressive silence of the room. Müller leaned forward with apparent calm, but the speed with which he grabbed the device revealed his impatience. He listened to the newly arrived message with an expression that wavered between relief and calculation.

“K18, the transfer has been completed. Everything is proceeding according to plan. No signs of interference. I await further instructions.”

He smiled, satisfied. The network he had woven was working perfectly. With a heavy sigh, he rose from his chair and walked to the window, gazing at the flickering lights of the Alpine town below.

However, there was still one variable out of his control: Lucia Marini. Despite her official removal from the case, Müller knew her determination made her a constant threat. He had to find a way to neutralize her, but discreetly. A direct confrontation would draw too much attention.


Low clouds slowly rolled in, shrouding the high Alpine peaks above St.

Moritz, giving the landscape an inconsolable melancholy, as if the sky were raining delicate tears.

As he pondered, there was a knock on the door.

“Come in,” he said in a firm voice.

Helena entered, elegant and impeccable as ever, wrapped in a dark gray suit that caressed her curves with sartorial precision. Her eyes, a deep, penetrating blue, seemed to scan every corner of the room, effortlessly capturing the attention of anyone who observed her. She carried a thin folder, held casually between her slender fingers, like a glass of red wine that shone like a ruby ​​in the soft light of the room. Her every movement, calculated and fluid, exuded an aura of sophisticated allure, as if she were aware of the magnetism she exerted on those around her...
