Production of recycled carbon fiber reinforced PEEK granules
Code: 11419. We offer a technical compound based on recycled Polyether-ether-ketone (PEEK), enriched with a mix of high-performance reinforcements: carbon fiber, graphite and solid lubricants based on PTFE.
This combination gives the material an extremely low coefficient of friction, optimum machinability and excellent wear resistance even under severe conditions.
The material also maintains remarkable stiffness and mechanical strength, making it ideal for high-stress applications.
Main uses
This recycled technical granule finds application in numerous sectors:
- Precision mechanical industry, to produce components subject to continuous sliding or friction, such as self-lubricating bearings, bushings, pads and sealing rings.
- Aerospace and automotive sectors, where lightness, structural strength and friction reduction are essential.
- Industrial equipment and pumps, for elements subject to wear and chemical agents.
- Electrical and electronics, where thermally stable and deformation-resistant materials are required.
- Conveying and handling systems, such as rollers or guides, where low friction combined with long life is essential.
