Code: 9999. We sell a screening and separation system for plastic materials that have different shapes and specific weights.
The screening and separation system accommodates materials as they are fed into the top of the screen.
The plastic waste to be separated is fed without pressure into the zigzag screen shaft via a rotary valve.
Due to the force of gravity, the material sinks downwards and continually impacts every single fold of the unit.
A conveying fan which serves to discharge small or light particles, creates a countercurrent in the zigzag channel.
After each bend, the materials must pass through a countercurrent flow, where the light materials are separated from the heavy ones.
Heavy plastic waste is discharged from the bottom of the channel and transported pneumatically or mechanically to downstream equipment.
The selectivity can be controlled manually via a butterfly valve, or electronically via a frequency converter.
The screening and separation system for plastic materials can be used:
- Separation of fine and non-agglomerated materials from the product and simultaneous cooling of the materials
- Separation of thick-walled plastic or synthetic sheets and particles
- Dedusting of granules and cooling of the materials simultaneously
- Separation of PET flakes and PE/PP labels
- Separation of PE/PVC – cable sheath and copper
- Separation of protective films from profiles, (on end parts or mixtures)
