Code: 9865. We produce a family of polystyrenes in recycled or ground granules which come from post-consumer and post-industrial waste.
The Polystyrene, in the form of recycled or ground garnules, is an amorphous thermoplastic polymer obtained from the petrochemical monomer styrene.
It is a crystalline, rigid and relatively brittle material.
The Polystyrene has barrier properties to oxygen and water and has a relatively low melting point.
Polystyrene is a plastic group with three main types:
– GPPS
– HIPS
– EPS
