Iber Resinas is a company based in Valencia (Spain) that deals with the recycling of polypropylene, polyethylene and polystyrene, deriving from separate collection or industrial production waste. transforming them into ground or granules for the production of new plastic products.


The company has a consolidated market in the sale of recycled polymers affecting the automotive, construction and packaging sectors.


The buyer who closed the operation is the multinational TotalEnergies , which continues its business diversification not only in the renewable energy sector but also in the recycled plastics sector.

The purpose of this acquisition for TotalEnergies is to increase its production of circular polymers in Europe , expanding its range of recycled products and improving its access to raw materials, through Iber Resinas' supplier network.

On the other hand, Iber Resinas will exploit synergies with TotalEnergies to develop quality products and will benefit from the company's ability to accelerate its growth.
