The post-consumer recycled granule is produced through the processing of HDPE waste, mainly consisting of detergent and home care bottles, which are selected, ground, industrially washed, dried and extruded into granules. The recycled HDPE granule is filtered at 100 microns, with a PP content of around 1% and is therefore suitable for the production of thin walls of blown bottles in the home and personal hygiene products sector and in the industrial plastic packaging. In fact, a low presence of PP in the polymeric mixture improves the welding of the two sides of the bottle during production and the subsequent filling, transport and storage phases.The recycled HDPE granule has a filtration that allows its 100% use during the blowing of the bottles, or lends itself to compounds with the virgin HDPE polymer.
