Code: 8276. The selected domestic waste consisting of the wet fraction (FORSU) is subjected to shredding and mixing with vegetable fractions and other compostable fractions.

The stacked material is processed to allow it to aerate and to carry out the necessary aerobic reactions.

After about 90 days the material is sent to the screening plant and after this operation the result is a fertilizing compost suitable for fertilization in agriculture, viticulture and horticulture, horticulture.
