Code: 10371. We produce a specific system for thermal hydrolysis before the anaerobic digestion of wastewater purification sludge.
In the primary and secondary sectors of the waste water treatment plant , the untreated sludge is collected and compressed until it reaches a consistency of 16-18% solids. This concentrated sludge is then constantly fed into a pre-treatment machine.
From this machine, the heated sludge is continuously transferred to the reactors , through a phased method that ensures hermetically sealed containers of sludge for each reactor.
After treatment in the reactor, the sludge, now sterilised, is immediately transferred to a rapid settling tank, operating at ambient pressure. The sudden reduction in pressure causes the effective destruction of the organic cells present in the treated sludge.
At the end of this process in the settling tank, the sludge is cooled until it reaches the optimal temperature for anaerobic digestion , partly through the addition of water to dilute it and partly through heat exchangers, to then be introduced into the anaerobic digesters.
