Mixers for plastics essentially consist of a cylindrical container with a cone and a centrally oriented mixing screw.

The plastic material is taken up by the mixing screw and transported upwards through the mixing tube. At the top of the auger, an ejector projects the material downward, distributing it evenly throughout the mixing container.
