Code: 10735. We produce glycerin in our factory, a derivative of biogas production from frying and vegetable oils.
Glycerin is a byproduct of the transesterification reaction during the production of biodiesel. The obtained raw glycerine is processed in a plant that includes all treatment phases, including desolventization, purification, concentration, distillation and refining.
The use of glycerine from the refining of waste or vegetable oils is used in the following fields:
Chemical industry: It is used as a raw material in the production of resins, plastics, lubricants and surface agents.
Biogas production: Glycerin can be used as a substrate for biogas production through anaerobic digestion.
Agricultural sector: Used as an additive in animal feed, glycerin improves the energy supply and palatability of livestock feed.
Tobacco products: It is used in the production of chewing tobacco and e-cigarettes as a humectant to maintain humidity.
Polymer production: Glycerin is used in the synthesis of biodegradable polymers, such as polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), which find use in environmentally friendly applications.
