Code: 10475. We produce a line of biopolymers from the polyhydroxy alkanoate family, more briefly called PHAs.
PHA comes in the form of flakes and represents a category of thermoplastic polyesters that is obtained by exploiting biomass that is renewable every year, such as corn and various types of sugars from agricultural practices.
As industrial processes evolve, it will be possible to manufacture these polymers starting from waste or residual materials from various industrial productions.
Technical characteristics (ranges) of the PHA flakes of the different products:
MFI: 4 to 20 190 °C/2.16 Kg.
Density: from 1.23 to 1.25 gr./cm3
Tensile modulus: 860 to 4200 MPa
HDT: 5 to 134
Origin: France
