SENIOR GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

for our office in Bogota Colombia

The company has an international scope, present all over the world , specializes in the distribution of plastic materials and chemical products, is looking for a senior general accountant to join the office in Bogotá, Colombia.

Activity

- Reports directly to the Head of Financial Operations based in France.

- Responsibility for year-end/monthly accounting for the Colombia branch, including accruals/prepayments/fixed assets

- Review month-end financial results, performing variance analysis against budget and forecasts and working closely with the finance team in France in providing insights and solutions

- Prepare monthly budgets

- Involvement in quarterly/annual audit work, including gathering information and providing analysis

- Track and approve payments for various expenses, including payroll, invoices and taxes.

- Manages cash flow and preparation of monthly forecasts for the group financial manager

Is required

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior administrative manager in an international company with a strong control environment.

- Administrative professional training.

- Excellent knowledge of local tax and accounting regulations, with experience in complex financial systems

- Experience with MS Navision/Business Central is a plus

- Knowledge of Spanish and English, both spoken and written.

- Strong analytical and multitasking skills.

- Adaptability and flexibility

- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other relevant applications

- Detail-oriented, organized and flexible

- Resilience and drive for results

- Desire to learn
