Plastics Derived from Renewable Resources

This category includes polymers such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyamides (PA), and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) , all derived from biobased bases. Also included in this group are products derived from cellulose, such as cellulose acetate.

Biodegradable Plastics

Both those derived from renewable and non-renewable raw materials fall into this family. The main exponents include polylactate (PLA), polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) and various biopolyesters, including PBS, PCL and PBAT.
