Code: 10734. In our plant we take care of the recycling of frying oils that come from both the Italian and foreign recovery chain.
At the end of the recycling of used frying oils we generate biodiesel which is a circular fuel for powering engines.
Furthermore, we participate in the production of biodiesel, using the oils that come from vegetable crops dedicated to this purpose.
Biodiesel is produced through a chemical process known as transesterification. During this process, a vegetable oil reacts with an excess amount of methyl alcohol, under the influence of an alkaline catalyst.
The result of this reaction is a mixture of different methyl esters. This biodiesel is free of sulfur and aromatic compounds, but contains a high percentage of oxygen.
Thanks to these characteristics, it can be used as a fuel for both vehicles and heating systems.
