Use of recycled PP/PE granules for brooms

Code: 4450. The bases of the brooms can be made from recycled polypropylene or PP/PE granules, coming from post-consumption (differentiated collection) with fluidity between 5 and 10 in different dark colors.

The recipes of post-consumer recycled PP/PE granules can be composed of:

Recycled polypropylene from recycling (post-consumption) through the selection of rigid packaging, shredding, washing and granulation with 200 micron filters and the coloring of granules. Normally the MFI is around 8-10 to 230/2.16 kg. The packaging is in BB from 1200 kg.

Recycled PP/PE compound from recycling (post-consumption) through the selection of rigid packaging, shredding, washing and granulation with 200 micron filters and granule coloring. Normally the MFI is around 5-6 to 230°/2.16 kg. the PP percentage is normally around 50.

Using this compound, to avoid streaks on the structure of the broom, it is recommended not to exceed 210-220 degrees. The packaging is in BB from 1200 kg.
