Skytech and Snetor Announce Recycled Polymer Distribution Agreement

Skytech, a French pioneer in the Greentech sector specializing in the creation of high-quality recycled resins for industry and plastic producers, together with the Snetor Group, a global company in the distribution of raw plastic materials and chemical products, have announced the agreement for the distribution of recycled ABS and PS.

The Snetor Group has over 40 years of experience in the distribution of plastic raw materials (such as polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, expanded polystyrene) and chemical products, expanding into Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.

Present in more than 100 countries, the group serves a wide range of customers including converters (such as printers, extrusion companies, film producers) and local distributors. Since 2019, Snetor has begun to actively engage towards a transition to the circular economy, launching the Snetor Green brand and embarking on an ambitious Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) path.

Skytech has established itself in recent years as a leader in the recycling of high quality ABS, PS and PP, guaranteeing technical performance equal to that of virgin resins.

The company has expanded its production capacity in the new Val d'Hazey plant, aiming to reach 40,000 tonnes to meet the growing demand of its customers. The progressive rapprochement between the Snetor Group and Skytech in 2022 led to the formalization of a commercial partnership for the supply of recycled ABS and PS.

The signing of this contract seals the trust and cooperation between the two companies, which are betting on increasing the demand for recycled plastic globally by 2024.

Frédéric Delaval, General Manager of Skytech, expressed satisfaction with the partnership with Snetor, recognizing the agreement as a sign of confidence in the quality of their ABS and PS recycled plastics and in the team's expertise in the regeneration and formulation of post-plastic materials consumption.

This agreement further strengthens the collaboration with Snetor, demonstrating the latter's commitment to intensifying the distribution of recycled products produced by Skytech.

Fabrice Guillermain, Deputy General Manager Business of the Snetor Group, expressed great enthusiasm for the contract, which represents an important step forward in the commercial partnership.

Skytech's products, the only ones of their kind on the recycled ABS/PS market, anticipate a significant increase in demand from companies eager to integrate more recycled materials into their products to reduce the environmental impact of their production processes. Guillermain thanked the Skytech team for their ability to meet these needs.
