The product, used specifically for PA6 and PA66, gives these systems the UL 94 V-0 property. The melanin cyanurate compound, which decomposes endothermally above 320°C, acts as an inert gas source that dilutes oxygen and combustible gases at the point of combustion, while providing a cooling effect by absorbing heat from the environment. PVC flame retardant composed of zinc borate has a wide range of applications as a smoke suppressant and flame retardant in plastics, rubber, fabrics, paints, adhesives, pigments and ceramics. Due to its high dehydration temperature, it is used in the production of high-temperature resistant polymers. It can also be used in halogen-containing and halogen-free flame retardant formulations. The flame retardant for PVC and PA that replaces antimony trioxide is an innovative product that has a high flame retardant effect. rMIX: Metallic Soaps for the Production of PVCCode: 10142. We produce a line of metallic soaps suitable for PVC polymer formulations where you want to improve the quality characteristics. Metallic soaps are the result of the reaction of a metal oxide or a metal hydroxide with a fatty acid and are used as co-stabilisers and internal/external lubricants in PVC formulations. Within the formulation of metal soaps we find calcium stearate, barium stearate and laurates of these metals, used as internal lubricants in PVC formulations, they also act as co-stabilisers which increase heat stability, revealing their effects through the formation of the salt CaCl2, which is produced as a result of their reaction with the HCl released by the thermal degradation of the PVC structure.
