Origin: Tuscany.Pietra Serena is a type of blue-gray sandstone used extensively in the Renaissance architecture of Tuscany, particularly in Florence. It has been used in numerous historic buildings, squares and churches in the region.It is prized for its elegant finish, its durability and its ability to be sculpted into very fine detail.
