The nickel alloy and stainless steel bars are delivered with a peeled, ground, burnished or roughed surface, depending on the dimensions.

Nickel and steel bars can also be used for the manufacture of drill bits with the following characteristics:

- High resistance to fatigue and toughness

- High resistance to wear and permanent deformation

- Tight tolerances (for automated manufacturing processes)

- Uniform response to heat treatment
