Code: 9264. In our factory, we produce the rigid smooth tubes in GRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) consisting of three self-supporting layers.
Fiber-reinforced plastic (GRP) pipes have diameters ranging from 300 at 2800mm. and a length that varies from 6 to 12 meters as standard production, with pressure class PN 1 bar-PN-40 bar.
How they are structured the GRP pipes?
GRP pipes are made up of three layers that support each other, each plane has its own characteristics and functions.
Inner layer:
is the innermost layer of the tube that is in direct contact with the material it carries. Maximum durability has been achieved with the fiber resin which is resistant to all chemicals in the liquid it carries.
Intermediate layer:
is the layer that provides the resistance of the pipe against internal and external pressures and loads. The thickness of the inner layer is made in a dimension capable of withstanding the internal and external loads to be carried by the pipe. Fiberglass wick and clipping material, resin and sand are used in this layer.
Outer layer:
It is manufactured using resin at least 2mm thick and fiberglass to protect the tube from external effects. Further additives can be used for protection from solar radiation, if necessary.
GRP pipes are used for the construction of the following networks:
