Production of talc for industrial use, a versatile, soft and resistant mineral with uses in many sectors
Code: 11585. We are dedicated to the processing of talc, a natural mineral formed from hydrated magnesium silicate, characterised by a lamellar structure that makes it unique for its softness and versatility of use.
With a minimum hardness on the Mohs scale, it is the softest mineral known and therefore easily transformable into fine powders used in various production sectors.
Its unctuous consistency, low specific weight and powdery sheen make it a precious raw material for both aesthetic and functional applications.
Talc is naturally hydrophobic and organophilic, qualities that favor its integration into polymer matrices and industrial blends. It is chemically inert, resistant to dilute acids and alkalis, and remains stable even under challenging conditions.
In addition to being an excellent thermal and electrical insulator, it has the advantage of being neither flammable nor explosive , ensuring safety in the various phases of use. The color range varies from white to light green, with shades that adapt to specific aesthetic needs.
