Biogas cogeneration produces electrical and thermal energy using agro-zootechnical or industrial waste, organic fractions of municipal waste or waste water .

Different lines of biogas plants are available, with modular options ranging from very small units up to larger plants, capable of reaching outputs of up to 1,500 kW.
