Code: 9244. We produce a dry mix made up of a correct assortment of recycled post-consumer plastic granules for making screeds lightened.
The recycled polymer compost, from post-consumer plastics, replaces the natural fraction of sand in the cement mixture during the laying of cement screeds with soundproofing value.
On site, the post-consumer polymeric compound will be mixed with water and cement and you can proceed with the installation according to the thicknesses that have been chosen .
The recommended mix is 1 cubic meter of post-consumer recycled polymer with 80-150 liters of water and 80-150 kg of cement.
The created screed not only has an advantage from the point of view of the reduction of footfall noise, but generates considerable savings on the p of the attic as we pass from about 2000 Kg. to the m3 of a traditional cement screed about 600 Kg. per m3 for the polymeric one.
It has a good thermal conductivity equal to 0.076 W/mK, in fact the post-consumer recycled polymer screed is comparable to 4cm. of polystyrene, 13 cm. of aerated concrete or 25 of expanded clay.
Furthermore, as far as impact sound insulation is concerned, the screed with post-consumer plastic granules produces a reduction noise equal to 20 decibels, calculated both on site and in the laboratory.
As regards compressive strength, it obtained class CP2 with a compressibility test equal to 5000 Kg./m2
