Aggregate of Steel from Process Slag

Code: 1039. From the steel working processes we obtain an aggregate that comes from the treatment of production slag through the use of electric furnaces arc.

Before the distribution of the product, the material is cooled, stabilized through the compounds, crushed, deferred and screened.

Use of the Aggregate of Steel from Process Slag:

• as inert material for structural and non-structural concrete
• concrete floors,
• bituminous mixtures in wear layers
• treatments surface of road pavements
• funds and granular substrates of road pavements
• backfill of retaining walls
