We specialize in the production of flame retardants based on aluminum hydroxide (ATH) and magnesium hydroxide (MDH), two fundamental compounds for increasing the safety of polymers without resorting to heavy metals or halogenated substances. These additives ensure excellent thermal stability and are used in numerous sectors due to their compatibility with various resins. Their action is based on an endothermic decomposition process that, under the influence of heat, releases water and forms oxides, lowering the material's temperature and diluting flammable gases. Aluminum hydroxide is processed at around 200°C and requires energy to decompose its structure, releasing water and turning into aluminum oxide.
