Code: 508. We collect the fine scrap of ferrous material that is produced during hot rolling or forging iron and steel.

From the chemical-physical analyzes carried out on the scrap, and according to the European Environmental legislation, the raw material was classified as SPECIAL NON-DANGEROUS WASTE, included in the “GREEN LIST”.

The resulting fine waste can be used:

  • Production of cast iron (R4)
  • Production of ferroalloys or other steel specialties (R4)
  • Production of iron salts or pigments for the chemical industry (R5)
  • Cement industry for the production of counterweights or as an additive (R5)
  • Rock wool
  • Fertilizers
  • Coloured glass
  • Batteries
  • Water and soil treatment.
